Description
The TACCOM barrel extension is now available to extend any barrel 5” or longer to 16” overall length. Made from 6061 aluminum, the end user will be able to cut the extension to the appropriate length desired, thread on to your barrel and permanently attach it per the BATF guide lines. We recommend the blind pin and cover weld method. The extension will finish up nicely using 220 grit sand paper, of course you can go with finer grit to get a more polished look on the extension.
As for a little more information, we also recommend that if you are going for a legal 16” barrel…..measure up so that you go over that 16” dimension by an 1/8” to ¼” so there is no question on the overall length being 16.”
