The idea behind the tactical mag release is to have a raised release that’s larger than factory, but not too big.

Great extended mag release . Wanted to find one as close to stock looking as possible but easier to manipulate. Well this is the one! Excellent for faster mag changes.

Terrible quality. delrin= plastic. The original which is also plastic is of much higher finish. There are burrs on the taccom release and powder from the manufacturing process. $10 for a terribly made release is unconscious.

However the unit, one thing’s for sure, Taccom stands behind the product – they even picked up the phone on a Saturday. So I’m thankful for that and will be back to get something else. Hopefully metal and better quality

Bought the Tac Mag Release about a year ago, and liked it so much, I’m trying to buy another. However, it looks like my new build must wait.

I found the Release to be well designed and manufactured, easy to install, and it performs its intended function reliably. It’s much better than the flush Ruger design, while not being too big and too easy to hit accidentally. Know that my build is intended for self-defense, not competition.

For 10 bones, it’s a very good value.
